Saturday July 26, 2025 More catching up I

 

It is kinda hot and really smokey here today. We heard from our old neighbors on Mason Hill North, John & Amy, that they are at home this morning so we drove up there first thing to see their new addition. And it’s a beautiful thing. Again, this is the perfect time of year to be here because everything is green and we have another sunny, but hazy day.

Our other neighbors Dave and Ita were also home and we had a long catch up with them. Our kids are the same age so we all have the same Mason Hill memories of pain and suffering.

  Next stop was our old friend Jim Runcie who was home. He seems ready to buy a van and wanted to look at ours. More memories since our kids were the same vintage.

Then Paisley Hippo for lunch, an old haunt, and back to Dave & Debs for a little pool time and leftovers from the previous night.

I should note that it was pretty hazy / smokey from the fires in Canada. It does make for nice red sunsets and sunrises.
