Another good night’s sleep in the camper. A little warm but the fans kept things cool enough. Vermont has been getting warmer over the years and the humidity is pretty high as well. Gotta eat more creemees to compensate…
This morning Deb is meeting the Starksboro girlfriends who we raised our kids with at Snap's in Bristol for breakfast. It’s fun to catch up with them and find out where all those kids ended up.
I stayed for a bit but then left to go to the AER shop to catch up with those guys and meet any new employees. I worked with Dave B for 40 some odd years in what evolved into AllEearth Renewables, so it’s very sweet to see those folks. Deb spent a few hours with “the girls”, so Dave B and I met her for lunch at good old Cubber’s, where we used to stop with the kids after ball games, plays, concerts, etc.
After lunch we rode over to Huntington and stopped at Jubilee Farms where our friend Ann Bove has a little shop. She is currently laid up from a leg injury (fell off a ladder) but we got to see her shop and pick up some flowers for tonight's get together at Dave and Deb’s.
Phil Poech had invited us to stop by so we had a nice hour with Phil and his wife Lea. I worked with Phil for some years and he and Lea are now retired. We got a tour of their cute Airstream trailer. Then on to Dave and Deb's to help set up for tonight's festivities. Keith Kennedy and Kathy Manning and Linda and Nile Schneider are coming over for dinner. It was another nice night to sit outside and catch up. We all helped clean up, said our goodbyes and then off to bed.
