Monday Aug 4, 2025 Greenport to Glenn’s house.

Breakfast of leftover yogurt parfaits and danish, then we walked to 67 steps beach (I only counted 60..) and back to work off the breakfast. We loaded the Honda Fit with our luggage, the kids rocking chair and us 4 adults and drove to the ferry, stopping at Latham’s farmstand to get some fresh veggies and fruit. We said our goodbyes, bought our tickets ($46 for both) and took the 1 hur, 20 minute ferry to New London. The chair was a good conversation starter!

The van was there waiting for us so we unpacked a bit and set the GPS to Orange, CT where our old friend Glenn Gaetano lives. Glenn was waiting for us and made us fresh raviol and his secret pasta sauce, along with fresh egplant parm his brother brigs to him once a week. An evening catching up after three years then bed. Thanks Glenn!!
